Finding the Right Paths in Life is Not Easy

I Know What It's Like

I know what it’s like to feel like you have too much on your mind to be able to grow as a person or pursue what is really important.

I know what it feels like to have a lot of information but be confused as to which information is important to act on right now.

I know what it’s like to have obstacles that seem insurmountable.

I Felt Like a Failure Most of the Time

I have lived with chronic illness for many years.  But I was still needed as a mom and as a support person and volunteer for our kids’ homework and activities. And my husband still needed a partner, too!

I was so relieved when I discovered Spiritual Direction

I found a place where I could sit and listen to Jesus. I could be listened to by a trained professional who was always compassionate, kind, and wise. I began to gain a new perspective, and I realized now that God has good things for me- not just other people! I began to dream again. I still meet with a Spiritual Director and I always will. You can rest assured that I am still getting support and I know what it feels like to be in the other seat. : )

WHO I AM

I’m a mom to four young adults and wife and kayaking partner to Jeremy. Avid reader, closet writer, lover of trees and fresh air, and Jesus.

WHERE I WORK

Living in Portland, Oregon, I can meet with you in person or via Zoom. Most of my clients meet with me remotely, and I’ve worked with folks from San Francisco, Chicago, Ecuador and my own Spiritual Director is in Columbus, Ohio!

MY CALLING

I feel especially called to work with young adults, so if you are over 30ish, I can help you find someone else to work with.
